Deduce the missing combination.
The reference scales show equal combinations. Use those relationships to fill the target’s right pan.
- Click or tap a shape, drag it to the right pan, or press its number key.
- Tap a placed shape to remove it. Backspace removes the last shape; Clear pan removes all shapes.
- Press Confirm balance or Enter. The scale gives no weight feedback while you edit. You may retry within the 60-second limit.
- Your answer must use a new combination: an exact copy of the target or a reference pan is rejected. Equivalent combinations are accepted.
- Each puzzle has its own shape values. Higher levels include negative symbolic values; a shape’s value need not behave like a physical weight.
A solved puzzle raises the next level; a timeout lowers it. You can place up to 16 shapes. Review the deductions after all 10 puzzles.
Negative values and copied-answer restrictions are reported by preparation sources. This simulator uses our own puzzles, timing, adaptive progression and retry behaviour.
A useful way to approach it
Translate each balanced reference into an equality. Combine relationships before building a new equivalent combination on the target pan.
Understanding your results
Review the deductions and accepted combinations. Symbolic negative values and adaptive difficulty belong to this practice format.
